Samenvatting:
In 1998 ECN en RIVM published the report 'Optiedocument vooremissiereductie van broeikasgassen' (Options for the reduction of emission of
greenhouse gases). The objective of the document is to provide as complete as
possible a summary of all relevant information regarding the different
options for emission reduction in 2010. It contributes to the process of
preparing the Dutch Government White Paper on Climate Change Policies by the
Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment (VROM). In addition
to this document the ministry has asked some extra questions, required for
preparing the memo. This report presents the answers of ECN and the National
Institute of Public Health and Environment (RIVM) to these questions.
Furthermore, an overview is given of reactions from several public
organisations. 25 refs.
