Samenvatting:
Results are presented of the first year of monitoring solar home systems in three provinces in PR China. With a limited number of measured parameters the operation of the systems can be monitored thoroughly. The 45 Wp PV-modulesare somewhat over-sized for lighting use only. Energy balances did not reveal any unnecessarily high system losses.
