Samenvatting:
The differences between two studies on CO2- emissions in 2010 from theDutch greenhouse horticultural sector are clarified: 'A Quick Scan', which
was a coordinated effort of the 'Landbouw-Economisch Instituut (LEI),
Netherlands Energy Research Foundation (ECN), and the 'Informatie en Kennis
Centrum Landbouw' (IKC), based on current trends, and a National model study
on greenhouse gas reduction options by ECN and the National Institute for
Public Health and Environmental Protection (RIVM), based on model
calculations. Two subjects are elaborated: the expected long term physical
output and intensification and the behaviour options of horticulturists in
view of energy efficiency policies. 19 refs
