Samenvatting:
The energy conservation options and cost of choices for theenergy-infrastructure and energy supply for a newly to be built area in the
northern part of Amsterdam, Netherlands, are described. A comparison is made
for a district heating system in combination with collective heat supply by
means of a combined heat and power generating installation or a heat pump and
a natural gas infrastructure with individual high-efficiency boilers.
Calculations are carried out by means of the OEI (Optimal Energy
Infrastructure) model of the Netherlands Agency for Energy and the
Environment (Novem)
