Samenvatting:
This study focuses on the possibilities for improving the energy andcomfort situation of typical post war Dutch one-family houses. Constructional measures were the point of departure. The investigation concerned: moving the storage shed, as this measure can improve the use of passive solar energy, adding a draught buffer, application of night insulation inside or outside the house, adding a roof overhang, adding a lamella canopy, changing the thermal mass of the dwelling, changing the amount of glazed facade, adding additional insulation. As an example, some measures were combined into a 'renovation package' in order to get the optimal result
