Samenvatting:
The text in this report is the contribution of ECN to the title projectof the Netherlands Agency for Energy and the Environment (Novem). Results of
the integral system calculations are presented for state-of-the-art and
advanced BIG/STEG systems with capacities of 30, 60 and 150 MWe, supplied
with poplar wood and refuse derived fuel. BIG is a biomass gasifier and STEG
a combined cycle of steam and gas turbines. Parts of the text in this report
will be presented as chapter 4 in the final report of the project, which will
be published in the second part of 1997. 6 figs., 7 tabs. 14 refs.
