Samenvatting:
A water-based binder system for extrusion of the components for SolidOxide Fuel Cells (SOFC) was developed. The binder system consists of methylcellulose A4M (3 wt%) and water. The NiO/ZrO2 plates of sizes 50 x 50 x 0.7 mm3 were manufactured by the extrusion/rolling process followed by drying and sintering steps. The thickness of extruded tapes could be regulated to a required final dimension by rolling process. 10 refs.
