        Samenvatting:
This paper describes two models for modelling the O&M aspects of offshorewind farms. One has been developed by TU-Delft, and the other one by
ECN Wind Energy. The features and benefits of both models are illustrated
by means of a case study for the 500 MW DOWEC wind farm. The cost modelling
led to recommendations for optimising the O&M strategy of the DOWEC
wind farm. The paper shows that both models give similar results with
respect to the O&M costs. Differences in the downtime are clarified.
