        Samenvatting:
Within the framework of the Dutch National Research Program PhotovoltaicConversion of Solar Energy and financial contributions of the ECN program
ENGINE (Energy Generation In the Natural Environment) a production process
has been developed by which cells can be produced that show an encapsulated
efficiency of 15.7%. The basis of the cells is multicrystalline silicon. In
case of up-scaling to a production volume of 3 MWp/year, costs of 5-7 Dutch
guilders per Wp can be realized. 1 fig., 2 tabs., 3 refs.
