Samenvatting:
ECN is working with the Directorate of Energy Conservation (EBTKE), in the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), to develop a nationally appropriate mitigation action (NAMA) related to energy efficient electric motor systems. NAMAs are actions that the Government of Indonesia will take, potentially with international support, to meet its climate targets. A NAMA for electric motor systems can reduce energy demand from the industrial and commercial sectors and thereby reduce subsidies, as well as improve the revenues of Indonesian companies.
