Flue gas cleaning residue from a waste processing plant in theNetherlands is disposed into the ground in so called big bags. Damaged big
bags lead to emissions of salts and heavy metals to the ground water. In The
results of research, carried out to investigate the processes which can lead
to emission of the above mentioned elements into the groundwater, are
