Samenvatting:
The method and assumptions followed for the aerodynamic re-design of thetwo-bladed NedWind rotor 40 (500 kW) are described. Attention is paid to the
choice of the aerodynamic profiles and the calculation of the optimal
geometry. The blade has been designed for a three-bladed configuration.
However, the aim was to reduce the losses for a two-bladed configuration as
much as possible. The actual optimal geometry is described in a separate,
