Samenvatting:
This chapter is part of a larger analysis of low-carbon development options in Kenya, which
covers the six mitigation sectors set out in Article 4.1 of the United Nations Framework
Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC): energy (divided into electricity generation and
energy demand), transport, industry, waste, forestry and agriculture. The holistic, sectoral
analysis aims to inform the Kenya Climate Change Action Plan and provides the evidence
base for prioritizing low-carbon development options and developing proposals for
Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMAs) and REDD+ actions.
