Samenvatting:
As part of the North Sea offshore wind conditions measurement program a ZephIR LiDAR is installed at the so-called Europlatform on May 9, 2016. In order to assure high quality measurements this LiDAR unit, i.e. ZephIR 300 LiDAR U308, was first validated and verified at the ECN LiDAR Calibration Facility for the period of February 27 till April 27, 2016. The Meteorological Mast 4 measurements, being the key element of the facility, are part of the ECN ISO 17025 accreditation on meteorological measurements. The validation is performed by checking Key Performance Indicators and the verification is performed according to Annex L of CDV IEC 61400-12-1 of July 2015.
