Samenvatting:
NoordzeeWind carries out an extensive measurement and evaluation program as part of the Offshore Wind farm Egmond aan Zee (OWEZ) project. The technical part of the measurement and evaluation program considers topics as climate statistics, wind and wave loading, detailed performance monitoring of the wind turbines, etc.
Wave height data measured at the ammunition dump in the “IJgeul” and at the OWEZ location as well as predicted wave height data at the former location are analyzed and compared. Also, the frequency of vessels being able to access the turbines at the OWEZ location is analysed.
This report involves data from the 1st of January 2006 until the 13th of October 2008.
