Samenvatting:
The results of a study on different off-gas treatment systems for theabatement of volatile organic compounds (VOC), released during the coating process of conveyor belts, are presented. Based on the study a proposal and cost estimate for off-gas treatment is made for the situation at the Nitta Corporation of Holland in Alkmaar, Netherlands. Special attention is paid to the consequences of replacement of the electrical infrared heaters by ceramic gas heaters. 13 refs.
