Samenvatting:
In 1996 the municipality of the city of Uithoorn, Netherlands, starteddiscussions with members of public utility companies, ECN and the Netherlands
Agency for Energy and the Environment (Novem) to make proposals for energy
supply to a future residential district of the city. The most important
conclusions of these discussions are: (1) for the residential district of
Legmeer-West an Energy Performance Factor of 1.0 can be achieved. This
standard must be obtained by a set of heat and noise insulating measurements;
(2) for a group of dwellings the municipality of Uithoorn aims at the
application of sustainable energy: seasonal heat storage in combination with
floor heating and heat pumps. 3 figs.
