Samenvatting:
In the food industry in the Netherlands many different types of waste areproduced. A large part of those wastes comprise of organic materials with a
high calorific value and therefore appropriate to be used as a fuel for
energy production. However, the quantities, the composition and the present
market value of the wastes and residues are not known enough to be able to
estimate accurately their potential contribution to the energy supply. The
aim of the title survey is to provide the information and data to estimate
that contribution. In the title study the focus is on solid wastes for
gasification. The overall conclusion is that the quantities and the present
usage of the different waste flows are difficult to retrieve. Many
information sources are based on outdated data. 5 tabs., 17 refs.
