Samenvatting:
The costs of wind turbine components as a function of some major designparameters (e.g. size, thrust and torque) are determined, focusing on sensitivity, i.e. 'trends' of the cost with respect to the design parameters. The results of the study should find application for needs of absolute cost estimates, if dealt with judiciously. The cost functions derived in this report will be used in the numerical optimization tool BLADOPT, which will be designed, built and verified in a subsequent project. 11 figs., 6 tabs., 11 refs.
