Samenvatting:
The work on the title subject was carried out within the framework of thetasks put forward by the International Electrotechnical Commission Technical Committee IEC TC88. The Netherlands Energy Research Foundation (ECN) participated on request of the national standards committee NEC88. ECN took part in the working groups WG5 (Acoustic Noise Measurement Techniques), WG6 (Performance measurements), WG7 (Revision of IEC-1400-1) and WG8 (Testing of rotor blades). Contributions were made to the Editing Committee and to the work of the TC88 Committee, and to the final redaction of the document about small wind turbines. Moreover, the progress of the IEC TC88 work in 1994 is highlighted and the relation with the criteria in the Netherlands is described. 1 tab., 4 appendices, 2 refs.
