Samenvatting:
In this report three scenario's for the Dutch energy demand and supply in2020 are presented. The scenario's are based on the same exogenous
assumptions concerning economic growth and population growth. The first
scenario has a 'business as usual' character, the second and third scenario
presume a strong European environmental and energy policy, including an
energy tax. For each scenario the average rate of energy savings over the
period 1990-2020 is calculated for the sectors industry, households, services
and transport. Also the role of renewable energy is described in detail. For
each scenario the total primary energy supply is calculated as well as the
actual CO2-emissions, following IPCC-guidelines. 4 figs., 40 tabs., 34
