Samenvatting:
Three new and advanced, ECN-developed, biomass conversion processes arediscussed: (1) Substitute Natural Gas (SNG or hydrogasification) production;
(2) the Clean Air-blown Sustainable Syngas Technology (CASST) process; and
(3) the Flexible Integrated Sustainable Syngas Technology (FISST) process.
The results of the energetic evaluation, carried out by means of
thermodynamic analysis, of the processes and plans for further development
