Samenvatting:
The activities carried out in 1997 for the development of internationalstandards for wind turbines are described. The work was carried out within
the framework of the tasks put forward by the Technical Committee of the
International Electrotechnical Commission IEC TC88 and the BTTF-83-2. ECN and
TU Delft participated on request of the national standards committee NEC88.
With respect to TC88, contributions have been made in the working groups WG6
(Performance measurements), WG7 (Revision of IEC-1400-1), WG8 (Testing of
rotor blades), WG9 (Certification systems) and WG11 (Mechanical Load
Measurements) and the TC88 Committee. For the development of European
Standards, ECN participated in the activities of Cenelec BTTF 83-2.
