Samenvatting:
Thisreport deals with the specific investment risks in electricity generation.
This paper discusses the problems associated with energy investments
in general and focus on the additional or changing risks resulting from
electricity market liberalisation. The focus is on 1) risks under the
control of the electricity company, and on 2) market risks, such as
the risk of price changes. Ultimately, some of the approaches and strategies
that enable electricity producers to counter or mitigate these risks
are discussed.
